MTM Awards Celebrating the Excellence & Achievements of the Asian, Black & Ethnic Minorities MTM Awards is already established as the premier Asian, Black & Ethnic Minorities event in the South West welcoming over 3500 people across communities at the Glittering Gala Evening, over 1500 nominees and with over 70,000 voting online since inception in 2012.

Our Special Recognitions are awarded to businesses and communities other than the Asian, Black & Ethnic that work closely with these communities.
The awards are handed out to winners by our celebrity guests, some of whom have attended the presentation evening since inception in 2012. This clearly speaks of the consistency of these prestigious awards as the leading award ceremony in the South West and beyond. MTM is now one of the UK’s biggest and most sought-after award ceremony that celebrates the excellence and achievements of Asian, Black & Ethnic Minorities.
The MTM Awards provide a perfect setting for networking in a uniquely cultural environment in the heart of Bristol. The evening promises a star-studded line up of entertainment, exquisite dining and celebrity guests, all present to raise the profile of the event to a global audience.
The venue at the Bristol Marriott hotel, which has been the home of the MTM Awards since 2014, is transformed into a glittering gala award evening with exquisite waited for dining, red carpet welcome drink and photography and diverse entertainment, the only awards ceremony of this type in the South West and beyond welcoming a multitude of diverse guests.
The MTM South West Asian Awards were launched in August 2012 to celebrate the excellence and achievements of Asians in the region. In 2014 the awards opened doors to other ethnic communities to participate in the awards incentive.
The response was phenomenal and each season as we are unrivalled in that we receive a remarkable number of nominations for the awards, from big and small businesses, community organisations and people across the board in the South West.
In 2016 the awards introduced a National Award for Excellence & Achievements for participants across the country and in the same year, we introduced an International Special Recognition award for organisations that make a difference to communities in the developing world.
The introduction of this category put the MTM South West Asian, Black & Ethnic Awards on both a national and international awards map.
There have been six categories since 2014 with 23 awards and 10 Special Recognitions awards handed out each season by our celebrity guests in the presence of a multitude of diverse communities from the United Kingdom and across international waters.
In 2017 we have our Special Recognition and the National and International award have been awarded a category of their own hence making the nominations more online friendly.
Keeping an open nomination and voting system, our nominations and voting are online with brand ambassadors introduced since 2016 across the South West and in the Midlands and London region, who scout, educate and introduce those that may not have heard about the awards to participate.
The ambassadors have played a great role in opening new avenues in the smallest of towns in the region and have introduced the MTM Awards to performing groups and artistes who are struggling to get a high profile platform to showcase their talents.

Our 2018 cause is Prostrate Cancer where we are teaming up with Prostate Cancer UK to create awareness on this killer condition that is affecting many in the United Kingdom and across international waters. We have invited the Prostrate Cancer team UK to join us on our journey as we embark on the final 100 days before the Glittering Gal Award Evening where they will be with us campaigning for the cause.
