Established to support local communities in the South West during these difficult times, MTM’s Executive Director Junior Sheikh launched the South West Food Bank Appeal on the 18th March 2020, supported by Friends of the MTM Awards.
The idea is to collect essential items and deliver them to food banks, that a bigger demand than usual in the coming weeks/months.
The team has so far donated to Yate and Chipping Sodbury Foodbank, in South Gloucestershire East Bristol Food Bank; Bristol; Swindon Food Collective, Threshold Swindon, Gloucester City Mission. Next stop is Plymouth –DCFA (Devon& Cornwall Food Action.
