2019 is our eighth year and as we continue building on the success of MTM 2019 Awards, we are delighted to have been able to offer our stand-out awards night for 2019, celebrating the essence of business and culture across our diverse, rich, ethnic and minority communities.

Since inception in 2012, there have been 4,500 nominees, and 135,000 voters engaging in the online voting process. We have welcomed over 4,200 people across diverse communities at the Glittering Gala Award Evening.2016 saw the introduction of the National and International category. This has opened doors to greater participation throughout the country and across international waters.

MTM has raised awareness for various projects and charities. In 2017 our chosen project was to focus on the continued slaughter of the African Elephants, by organising the 1st ever Great London to Bristol Ivory Belongs To Elephant Walk. In the same year, we launched Feed The Homeless Bristol at the award evening to support those sleeping rough in Bristol. In 2018, we supported Prostate Cancer UK, as well as other non-profit organisations, such as Plastic Pollution & Awareness Project, and Families Relief UK and Dementia UK was our chosen charity for 2019.

All the 21 Awards, across seven categories, are available for nominations.

Special Recognition awards are also presented to businesses and communities, who work closely with the Asian, Black and Ethnic Minority groups.

The categories have been carefully crafted based on our thriving Asian, Black and Ethnic businesses and also extended to our stand-out citizens, supporting our young people, services, culture and environment.
