MTM Rosa Hui Empowering Women Award
4. LADIES IN HIGH HEELS PLYMOUTH - Ladies in High Heels Plymouth supports women facing abuse, isolation, low confidence, and difficult circumstances. Through friendship, encouragement, signposting, and women supporting women, the group provides a strong community network where no woman feels alone, unheard or without support.
MTM Young Achievers Award
1. Sharandeep aka Sharan Sahota, Miss Coventry, is an inspiring young carer, law graduate and community advocate. A Coventry Good Citizen Award recipient and Change Maker of the Year, she champions young carers, volunteers widely and uses her platform to create positive change.
2. Triple R&Z are a vibrant UK-based music trio bringing together Tanzanian heritage, creativity and contemporary sound. Through their music and performances, they celebrate culture, diversity and community, building connections between East Africa and the UK.
MTM Person of the Year Award
1. Naseem Talukdar - Founder of Feed The Homeless Bristol- Over the past decade, I have led and delivered several impactful initiatives that have strengthened community cohesion, supported vulnerable individuals, and advanced environmental responsibility across Bristol and beyond.
2. Beverley Douglas — a pioneering Black woman who became one of Avon and Somerset's longest-serving Black female police officers- was the first General Secretary of the Avon and Somerset Black Police Association, mentored young people, and continues community work in retirement. Bristol
3. Antonina Grebeniuk has transformed adversity into community action. As founder of Ukrainian School Bristol and Ukraine Aid and Welfare, she supports families, preserves Ukrainian culture, and brings communities together through education, humanitarian work, and major cultural initiatives, strengthening Bristol’s international community.
4. Avril Marshall has dedicated more than 30 years to Hartcliffe, Withywood and South Bristol, championing inclusion, equality and opportunity. Through Vision BAME CIC and numerous community initiatives, she has empowered residents, strengthened community voices and earned recognition for outstanding voluntary service.
