We Are M A D – Making A Difference!
1. Rodgers Kibiwott Koima -I believe my contribution is rooted in using my legal training and experience to help people who may otherwise have little or no access to justice. The cases that have meant the most to me have been those where I was able to assist people in my community on a pro bono basis.
2. Georgiana A Radu - My greatest achievement is knowing that my experience has encouraged other women to take their symptoms seriously, ask their doctors more questions, and seek further checks when they feel something is not right.
3. Elizabeth Ngote - Kenya -Liz's involvement with the Rapunzel’s Hair Affair Cancer Drive is about so much more than giving. It is about making a difference — standing beside cancer warriors, reminding them that they are not alone, and giving them something that can be just as powerful as any material support: HOPE.
4. Lets Unite for Autism Ltd - Lets Unite for Autism has made a significant contribution to the lives of SEND children, young people and their families by providing inclusive, accessible support from diagnosis through education and community life.
5. Dr Gudon Abdi Adan – Somaliland obstetrician and gynaecologist at Hargeisa Group Hospital, and clinical supervisor empowering medical students at the University of Hargeisa, while using her profession to educate and strengthen communities.
6. Sheetal Jethwa is a Bristol community leader, broadcaster and founder of South Asian Voices Bristol CIC. Through media, cultural events and community initiatives, she creates spaces that amplify voices, celebrate heritage and bring people together.
